Research Focus
I will be exploring the connection between AI generated images and historical, non-silver, alternative photographic processes. I want to see what happens when I combine AI platforms and the tedious nature of photographic processes. I am creating a new image creation methodology that will serve as my primary research model, and my secondary models will follow alternative process photographers Sally Mann, Francesca Woodman, and Jerry Uelsmann.
Project Responsibilities
I am undertaking this project on my own with guidance from my mentor. Dr. Smith will assist in facilitating the photographic experiments, while I will be conducting them and recording the results.
